The Texas Food Truck Showdown held its inaugural event on March 28 in downtown Waco. Put on by the Greater Waco Chamber, with presenting sponsor Legacy Land and Ranches, the event was an overwhelming success. An estimated 15,000 Texans turned out (exceeding the estimated attendance of 5,000) as 35 food trucks from across Texas gathered to compete for The Texas Food Truck Champion title! Guests could purchase an unlimited number of $3 tickets to savor food trucks from around the state. Other attractions were the beer and wine garden, mobile boutiques, live music and free sunset Cinema.
