Below are some frequently asked questions about The Texas Food Truck Showdown event in downtown Waco.

Tasty Tickets become invalid after 4 p.m. and no refunds are issued for unused tickets. Please note that tickets can no longer be purchased after 3 p.m. Click here for more information.

The food trucks have assured us that they will be prepared for the crowd.

Yes, a map will be available to download prior to the event.

The Texas Food Truck Showdown strives to mitigate its impact on the environment. We take a considerable amount of pride in the efforts of our attendees in maintaining the integrity of downtown Waco and Heritage Square during the event. Please partner with us to reduce the festival’s impact on the environment by participating in recycling initiatives and supporting the wonderful other green initiatives. Please note that there will be blue recycling bins located around the venue space for bottles and other recyclable items. Additionally, The Texas Food Truck will have trashcans throughout the venue area to collect waste not suitable for recycling or composting such as food wrappers, diapers and cigarette butts.

Yes, there is a KidsZone, sponsored by Raising Cane’s. It will feature food demonstrations, a petting zoo, interactive Claymation station, performances by Twiggy, the water-skiing squirrel, and more. Please click here for details.

Please see your map – the Lost & Found tent will be located behind the Chamber Building and in front of Coach’s BBQ. You can also contact the Chamber about your lost items after the event at ahaygood@wacochamber.com.

Waco PD will be providing all of our security on site that day. There will be plenty of officers on hand to ensure a safe event.

Emergency medical staff will be available on site. If you need any assistance, go to the medical tent, look for a police officer, or event staff member.

Both cash and credit cards will be accepted and we will have multiple ATMs on site.

Festival personnel reserves the right to refuse admission or remove you from the venue without refund in reasonable circumstances – such as the refusal of security checks or if venue staff consider that your behavior may adversely affect other people’s enjoyment of the event.

Tickets are not transferable and their resale for profit or commercial gain (except by us or our authorized sub-agents) or use in promotions or packages without the express permission of the Promoter / Organizer is prohibited and may render them void.

The Texas Food Truck Showdown does not offer refunds due to poor weather conditions. All sales are final rain or shine.

NOTE: By attending the event, you consent to being filmed / recorded as part of the audience for security and broadcast without payments.
